i own a repair shop, and you,ll have to jack the engine up really high in it to get the oil pan off of it and its still going to be a hard job to do,if you,ll take the two center bolts out of the motor mounts this will allow you to get it up some but its going to be close in it,if it does come off, i have lifted the engine up before with a hoist to get them off,but there no fun to do at all, good luck,i hope this help,s.How to change out oil pump in 91-94 ford explorer without removing engine?

Disconnect your motor mounts, and jack the motor as high as you can.Have 2 4x4 blocks of wood to hold the motor up.Take off the oil pan,and then the oil pump.
