How long does it take to change a oil pump in a chevy blazer?

2 door 4 wheel driveHow long does it take to change a oil pump in a chevy blazer?
that's gonna take quite a while because your not gonna get the oil pan off without practacly pulling the motor out, because of the crossframeHow long does it take to change a oil pump in a chevy blazer?
Depends on the engine and year, but generally a four wheel drive you have to pull the engine, or at least disconnect it from the transmission and lift it a foot to remove the oil pan. If your pump is going out then your engine is too. Probably caused a lot of damage with oil starvation. If you hear knocking inside when the engine starts you know it's hurting. So it's a big job. day or two.....?How long does it take to change a oil pump in a chevy blazer?
And the engine size is.....?

You usually have to at least partially lift the engine out to be able to remove the oil pan. The oil pump is located under the engine inside the oil pan. Engine removal requires a lot of other things to be unfastened and unhooked. If you have all the proper tools and a good place to do it and you're good at the mechanical work, I'd say at least a couple of days as long as you don't run into difficulty with something. How long does it take to change a oil pump in a chevy blazer?
