Turn the key to the on position which is the second key position. Press the gas pedal 3 times completely to the floor and then all the way off within 5 seconds of turning the key to the on position. The change oil will flash then go out and you will be all set. You need to be sure to press it 3 times smoothly up and down within 5 seconds or else it won't reset. It may take a few times to get it. Hiya bbunny3. Turn the key to the on position (do not start it). And then depress the fuel pedal to the floor 3 times, wait for a few seconds and that's it!.
I f you are doing your own oil changes -good for you. Don't forget to lubricate your door hinges and latches too. Makes them last the life of your car if you do. Also check all your fluid levels when you have the hood up. Brake fluid, antifreeze level, power steering fluid, transmission fluid(running in park-auto trans only).
Tire pressure is also a regular maintainence check.
