How do you find and change the oil pump in a Nissan200SX 2.0L engine.?

I have a Nissan 200SX, the one with the 2.0L engine. I can't find the oil pump. Does anyone know where to locate it and then how to change it?How do you find and change the oil pump in a Nissan200SX 2.0L engine.?
it's the plate on the front of the engine that goes around the crankshaft. if it's not a mid 80's model, it's a very big job. if it's the SER 2.0 (newer models), the cylinder head, timing cover and chain and oil pan all need to be removed. if it's the old 2.0 with the timing belt, the timing belt and oil pan need to be removed. either way it's a difficult job for someone who doesn't know where it's located and it's most likely not going to solve the problem your having. the oil pump is almost never responsible for low oil pressure. the most common problem is worn engine bearings/worn out engine.

I would like to confirm Bruces answer as correct. Way to go Bruce. Good advice regarding the oil pump, and oil pressure as well. Oil pumps are simple devices, and fairly reliable as a result. Low oil pressure is more likely an amalgam of problems assosciated with high mileage.
