not many times a oil pump goes bad. ive been driving 25 yrs almost and never had one go bad. been working in shops most of that time only replace one and most likely not bad. something else might be wrong. but id want to know who said it was bad and if they knew it was bad then they should be able to price it. id say its not likely bad and if it was. you got more problem than just a pump being bad.How much would it cost to have the oil pump changed on my 99 mustang?
if u want like an oil change it would be 30.000$ to change the pump possibly 200$ it depends on the places u go
