Can the oil pump be the problem...?

when im driving,i push the accelerator in and it takes like 10 seconds for it to get to like 20 mph,and so on...has no acceleration basically, and it uses 20 50 oil...does the oil have anything to do with the car being like this?any advice and info would help and is it the oil pump?if so please explain to me how to change it thanks...Can the oil pump be the problem...?
When was the last time the air filter was checked? It sounds more like it may be starving for air than any thing to do with oil supply. If the air filter is OK, then I would check for exhaust system blockage problems, It may be a bad or plugged catalyst,,... or some exhaust pipes may have damaged. Can the oil pump be the problem...?
I agree with Del you have some sort of air/fuel delivery problem.

If it were the oil pump or an oil issue you would have all sorts of noises coming from you engine if it were oil starved. Can the oil pump be the problem...?
that sounds more like the cat converter then the oil pump. if the engine is,nt making any noise then the pump is working.
