How do i find the fuel pump shutoff switch location to restart the engine for my 1998 ford taurus se ?

still don't see the switch. the car hasn't been started for many months but i change everything oil, battery etc.. when i turn the key, it don't make any noise to try to start but everything else turn on. also i don't know how the switch would look like and what do i do when i find it ? i don't have a manual book .. need info to get my car started and get it up and running.. i already look in the trunk and under the driver side dash board.. wait .! do i have to remove the whole dash board? i so lost! help me out. if you caN. any info well be helpful. thankz for your time. . .How do i find the fuel pump shutoff switch location to restart the engine for my 1998 ford taurus se ?

You will find that your fuel pump is attached directly to your gas tank. You may have to remove a plate on the side of it, but I believe you will find a button to just push in. Your best bet would be to call your local dealership to ask them. they may not tell you so call another independent mechanic if you have to. You should be able to find the answers you need online. go to any autoparts store. the swicth will look like a little pump usually yellow and it should be on either side of the trunk panels. just push it back down.
