its a 2007 model right ,so it still should be covered under warranty ,take it back to the dealer it should be covered under the 7-70 power train warranty,that's better than trying to do it your self,it could just be a sending unit not reading right on it also,good luck.How do i change an oil pump in a 2007 intrepid 2.7?

How do i change an oil pump in a 2007 intrepid 2.7?Scary job especially since it is likely more than just an oil pump, may require a complete engine to be right. If it looses oil pressure and makes knocking noises, it has done damage and is in need of more than an oil pump. search the Internet about all the problems these engines have when not serviced with synthetic oil, its real scary.How do i change an oil pump in a 2007 intrepid 2.7?
Don't try to do it yourself...you will get yourself into a real mess...let a mechanic at the auto repair do it...
